Talking As Fast As I Can

This year marks the 20 year anniversary of the first episode of Gilmore Girls. It’s hard to believe that thirteen years ago Gilmore Girls was ripped off our screens with no warning (but let’s be honest the 7th season wasn’t very good at all, Amy Sherman-Palladino knows what she’s doing).

tafaicTalking As Fast As I Can is the 2016 memoir/collection of essays by Lauren Graham, star of Parenthood and Gilmore Girls. This book was released to coincide with the Gilmore Girls A Year in the Life revival series.

Topics included in this book are her early days in Hollywood, how she wrote her previous book Someday Someday Maybe, guest judging on Project Runway and (what I read the book for) her time on Gilmore Girls – specifically the revival.

The book feels authentically Lauren Graham if you have ever watched her on talk shows (her best ones are with Craig Ferguson). The book is fast paced, funny and interesting. I definitely recommend it to any Gilmore Girls or Parenthood fans.
