Surely You’re Joking Mr Feynman: Adventures of a Curious Character

Surely You're.jpgSurely You’re Joking Mr Feynman: Adventures of a Curious Character is a collection of anecdotes collected by Richard Feynman, award winning physicist. The adventures he shares include gambling with Nick the Greek, learning safe cracking and fixing radios in his childhood.

Richard Feynman passed away on February 15th 1988, which is 29 years ago today.

Richard Feynman is the master of the humble brag, in spite of this I loved the book. It was obvious that he was a lively, mischievous character, and made for a funny read. I delved into the mind of a genius, and was pleasantly surprised that it was not dark and scary. The book seemed disjointed, but it can be forgiven for coming from such a brilliant mind.

The physics aspects of the book are light on, and glossed over fairly quickly. I know some of the words.

After reading this book, I am convinced I have done nothing with my life. I still recommend this book to everyone.
