Kristen Stewart’s Monologue on Saturday Night Live

Kristen Stewart hosted SNL for the first time this week, and there are a few talking points.

She’s funny. Her monologue was filled with funny, anti Trump humour. She referenced her ‘too cool for school reputation’ and she said that she was nervous about appearing on the show, because she knew the president was watching, and he didn’t really like her. She referenced some tweets that he posted during her troubled time with Robert Pattinson.

There is a slew of others. I wish these were fake.. But alas. Do you remember when there was a president who contributed to pop culture, rather than commenting on it? It’s becoming a distant memory, as these last few weeks seem to have gone on forever.

She continued on to say, that if he thought he hated her during 2012, he sure wouldn’t like her now. She’s on SNL and:

So her monologue was pretty good, then right at the end she dropped the F Bomb. Flanked by Aidy Bryant and Kate McKinnon, she said:

We’ve got a great show, and I totally care that I’m here because it’s the coolest fucking thing ever

She immediately realised her mistake and clapped her hand over her mouth, but it was too late. She now joins a host of other people who either accidentally or purposefully have dropped the F bomb on SNL. It’s almost a pity that she accidentally said fucking, because, not normally known for any comedic prowess, she did a pretty good job.
